1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using Postgenda, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Service description

Postgenda is a SaaS (Software as a Service) designed around two fundamental objectives:

  • Achieve your goals: Plan, organize and track your progress towards your personal and professional goals
  • Know yourself better: A time tracker and journaling tool for awareness and ongoing self-improvement

Postgenda helps you become who you should be by giving you a clear vision of how you use your time and what you dedicate your energy to. It's a companion for your personal and professional development.

Postgenda is available in multiple forms:

  • Desktop application: For Windows, macOS and Linux
  • Mobile application: For iOS and Android

3. User account

3.1 Account creation

To use certain Postgenda features, you must create an account. You can sign up with your email address or use our third-party authentication services (Google, Apple).

3.2 Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities that occur under your account.

  • Choose a secure password of at least 8 characters
  • Never share your credentials with third parties
  • Inform us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable use

You commit to not using Postgenda to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Transmit illegal, harmful or offensive content
  • Compromise the security or integrity of our systems
  • Collect information about other users without authorization
  • Use bots, scripts or other automated means

4.1 Free trial and subscription plans

Postgenda offers a free trial of limited duration (14 days) with no commitment required or payment information needed.

  • You can use all features during the trial period
  • At the end of the trial, your account will be blocked if you have not taken out a subscription.
  • Postgenda offers several subscription plans: monthly, quarterly, annual.
  • Postgenda occasionally offers a one-time lifetime payment called "lifetime" for select users.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time via your profile in the subscription section.

4.2 User content

All content you create and store in Postgenda (Categories, Subcategories, Time Sessions, Decisions, Events...) belongs entirely to you. You retain all rights to your data.

  • These contents are NOT and in NO WAY used by Postgenda
  • You can export or delete your content at any time
  • In case of account deletion, your content will be deleted within 30 days (unless legally required)

4.3 Desktop and mobile applications

Postgenda offers applications for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. These terms also apply to the use of these applications.

  • Data is stored locally on your device and synchronized with our servers
  • By default, no data is synchronized and everything remains on your device
  • You have the choice between unencrypted synchronization or end-to-end encryption
  • You are responsible for the security of your device and credentials
  • We are not responsible for data loss due to local issues, uninstall without backup, or file corruption

5. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights on Postgenda, including but not limited to source code, designs, logos and content, belong to Postgenda or its licensors.

6. Privacy and data protection

The collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy policy, which is an integral part of these terms.

Your data belongs to you. By default, data entered in applications (desktop/mobile) is stored only on your device. If you delete the application or your files, you lose your data. Postgenda is not responsible for local data loss. Data entered on the postgenda.com website is stored on our servers and used only for statistics and service operation purposes. A synchronization API is available to use multiple devices. If you choose end-to-end encrypted synchronization, even we cannot read your data.

7. Termination

7.1 Termination by you

You can terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the options available in your profile. Deletion becomes permanent after a 30-day period.

7.2 Termination by us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in case of violation of these terms of use or suspicion of fraudulent activity.

8. Limitation of liability

Postgenda is provided "as is" without any warranty whatsoever. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all responsibility for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of our service, including data loss or service interruptions.

Data loss responsibility: If you use Postgenda:

  • Without synchronization: Postgenda cannot be held responsible for losses due to uninstall, local corruption or hardware failure
  • With synchronization: We strongly recommend making regular backups in all cases.
  • If you enable end-to-end encryption and forget your password: your data will be lost forever and we will not be able to recover it.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these terms of use at any time. Modifications will take effect upon publication on this page. Your continued use of the service constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing law

These terms of use are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent French courts (Commercial Court of Amiens).
